Buenos Aires, November 19 (NA) -- The Disciplinary Tribunal issued a bulletin explaining the sanctions against Frank Kudelka and César Ibáñez, former coach and player of Huracán, due to the controversy surrounding the 1-1 draw with Barracas Central in the last matchday of the Torneo Clausura. In the match held at the Claudio Fabián Tapia stadium, both were involved in a serious altercation with referee Andrés Gariano and received a harsh punishment from the Argentine Football Association (AFA), which resulted in their “provisional suspension”. They were also authorized to present their written defense within the regulatory period, as stipulated in Articles 47 and 48 of the Disciplinary Code. The main referee, at the behest of VAR, awarded two penalties that angered the entire Huracán squad. According to information from the Argentine News Agency, the 64-year-old head coach accused the referee of “interfering” with his family, to which Gariano responded in an unacceptable manner: “we are going to talk and I am going to break everything,” in an aggressive tone that generated immediate condemnation from the representatives of the Parque Patricios team. The same sanction was applied to Mariano Hernán Lisanti, the physical trainer of 'Globo'. The controversy arose from the various refereeing decisions made by Gariano during the match.
